Just completed W6R3 successfully. I can't say I found it easy and when Laura suggested speeding up for the last minute I declined impolitely! I wish I was one of the lucky people who say they got to the end and could have kept going but telling myself it's not a competition and at least I did it. Hopefully I will find my stamina improving over week 7. I know the end is in sight and I know I will get there. What a change from week 2!
So easy, NOT so easy now ..: Just completed W6R... - Couch to 5K
So easy, NOT so easy now ..
Well done! Week 6 is particularly tricky, but it's all downhill from here, so enjoy the next 3 weeks to graduation!
That's a real accomplishment to complete W6R3, 25 minutes of running and I'm sure now that you are confident you'll graduate.
Your lyric in the subject line made me think "I know that song". Of course, when I googled the lyrics, I learned that it was a song from the C25K podcast. I found a post I'd written one year ago about W6r3 and it brought back happy memories. Thank-you.
Well done. I struggled with all of week 6 but W7R1 was a turning point and every run from there was great. Hope it is the same for you.
I hope so too and hope that in the future I will be running regularly and able to encourage new runners the way you all encourage me. Thanks
Ha ha! When I heard those lyrics when doing the podcasts I used to sing to myself ' so weary now, so weary now' so I know exactly how you feel!
I think they put that song in the podcasts just to mess with our heads. Congratulations!
