I'd go for the pink?? Variety is good so spend extra money in matching hot pants??

Get both pairs but wear one of each colour, you might start a trend!

That's a brilliant idea!

Green for me, with matching run jacket or tee

I bet you already have a pink ensemble☺

I do have a couple of pink items...I'm tending towards the green actually, very cool and I don't mean, you know, hip...

It's always good to have several pairs so you always have a dry pair even if you got drenched the day before :)

That aside, I'd go for the green.

Ha ha, you HU lot! I can always count on you for encouragement...they're almost half price and it would be terrible if they didn't exist next time I needed new shoes...

Both! They are lush.

The pink ones are pink AND green, the green ones are just green ......

I really like the green, but they are both lovely. Who would have thought, before doing this, that we'd drool over running shoes? I have started to really notice them when I am out, including on commuters.

Yeah, so do I. Sketchers look nice. Hi-tec have some snazzy walking shoes these days as well. Note to self. Stop looking in shop windows!

Get both, it's good to swap between shoes apparently :) ( not during a run, but from run to run :) )

If you had both then you could even have green on left and pink on right sometimes :D

That is def something I would do!! ;) (unintentionally too....)

Both! I read somewhere that serious runners have loads of running shoes.........

I would hate matching running clothes, but if they did a fancy dress event at parkrun I could go all in orange (just bought some orange under armour shorts, and I already have a dayglo orange top and radioactive-orange kayanos). If they every have a fancy dress day at parkrun I could go as Tango'd man.

If you want a me to choose...get the green. Thy look so cool

He he, Tango'd man - pics please!

I'm not all that bothered about matching stuff, but it is nice if you actually like your gear, the shoes I'm in at the moment are so boring, they look like the boxes they came in...I have a foot problem so was delighted to find some shoes that didn't exacerbate it. These are the same model, I didn't realise they came in other colours - better buy them all in case they get discontinued...

What I haven't said is I don't actually need new shoes at the moment, I'm just thinking ahead - the ones I'm using have done about 250KM,so I reckon they'll be kaput about August. I will be back in France until October, there's nowhere to buy shoes where I am, so I want to be prepared! I've had shin splints, and I never want them again!

Both pairs online are only £30 more than one pair in shop...Baldy has just ordered two pairs of shoes (not running shoes the lazy slug), might be a good moment...

By the way, I wouldn't normally buy shoes online, I think we should support our shops, but I bought one pair of these from Sweat Shop already, I think that covers my gait analysis no?

Pigivi profile image
Pigivi in reply to Curlygurly2

what model are your boring ones? I ended up with a pair of Mizuno Wave after gait analysis, and would love some colour instead...

Curlygurly2 profile image

The same brand, Mizuno Wave Inspire, but in boring white

AncientMum profile image

Oooo I want these. I have Mizuno Waves but they're hideous; white with purple soles and acid yellow laces. What site are they on, Curly? I could be pursuaded to get some myself ;) If I had to choose a colour, then I'd have pink on the left foot and green on the right! :)

Barrington Sports, they have a bank holiday discount, 20% extra off... they seem to accept anything back within 14 days too

They look nice and if they are really comfortable, I agree - get them both! I think the mantra "you can never have too many running shoes" is something my family will hear a lot going forward!
