Don't they have a PT at the gym who could develop a training plan for you?

I must admit I enjoy the gym because it means I can swim. I would love to do a spinning class but as Chileno speak is still too tricky I haven't manged that. I would do weights ask one of the trainers for help but I am sure this has helped me get better at running.

Gyms are different to running outside but offer a chance to do different things as well as running.

Good luck, as gyms tend to be expensive I always go even when I don't feel like it because once your there you have to do something.

Yes have a word with someone there, I was worried about doing things wrong and causing more harm than good. They got me doing strength stuff on the machines, leg presses, ab crunches things like that. Then a bit of rowing and cross trainer and bike. Another day they got me doing squats with kettle bells- a killer for the quads but hopefully all for the greater good. Its good to mix things up a bit. I haven't braved any classes yet. Good luck with it all x :-)
