You know when Laura says well done now go and have a healthy snack? Does a walnut whip count? Knowing it was in the fridge is what kept me going to the end of first run week 4 today :)

Do nuts count as 1 of 5 a day? If so then absolutely! I go out at 6a.m & am never sure what to have before I go - usually snaffle a rice cake...

Did you say "Do nuts..." Or did you mean "Donuts"? Either way, they're both on my post-run 5 a day list......

Saturday's post run 'recovery smoothie' involved a banana, a pint of whole milk, a spoonful of ground linseed, organic cocoa powder and a chocolate chip cookie wjazzed up in the blender. So yes, a walnut whip is ok!!

I once had some kind of witchetty grub type, um, grub at the Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi that looked exactly like an anaemic Walnut Whip but tasted most unlike one. That experience put me off for life.

Also: sugar= Great Satan

I think she means a banana. I don't eat anything unless i do more than 10k. you don't want to undo all, your hard work

I am sooo fancying a walnut whip right now.

I'm with Thomas - running means I can eat pretty much what I like. I eat healthily cos I like it - and have some choice whenever I fancy it!
