Crashed to the floor

Doing W2R2 this morning i tripped over a paving slab doing run interval 4. I went down in installments. Gave myself 30 secs to recover, did an extra 30 secs of running and carried on with the rest of the task...Do I count this as a failed day?

Big definite NO ! I'd count that as a fantastic achievement. Hope you recover and chose a different route maybe?

Absoluetly not! You picked yourself up &kept going, why would it be a failed run? Hope you didn't hurt yourself (including your pride!)

My Lord, there is no such word on here as " F*@&"* " :-)

You picked yourself up , dusted yourself down and carried on , theres no need to start all over again xxx

You should feel proud of yourself for carrying on, this run was an achievement so definitely a completed run. Hope any injuries are small ones, look forward to your next run pounding those pavements and enjoy yourself, well done.

There must be one of those compensation co's out there especially for our community? Slabs, Pot Holes, Dodgy Kerbs the list is endless ... maybe I'd best look into one of those headcams :-) (love a gadget)

lol it's a follow-up to in-car-vids for insurance co's - just don't want a black box fitted in my trunk ;-)

No. If you did the run it's done and you can tick it off

We all fall over at some point. No harm done. Just dust yourself off and press on. Scraped knees, torn leggings etc. Fortunately it's not usually serious and the only damage is to our pride

Never mind no-one saw you

6.30am running past Lincoln Cathedral, the only one who saw me was the imp and who cares what he thinks. Thanks :)

Wait til you're running up that hill!

They have runs that start there. That could be one for you in the future.

Enjoy your next run. Steady as you go!

No way! You finished the run, so plough on! Hope you don't get any delayed aches and pains - sometimes it only really hurts a day or so later :(
