I haven't done a run since Monday night, last night I took a night off and hit the gym and did a kettlebell and weights session. My quads and butt ache today, but I'm really keen on running today as I don't want to lose the motivation! I know Laura mentions about legs aching in the podcasts, but I never want to stop as my legs ache, they don't usually ache at all while I run.. in fact its that burning in my chest and the breathing that gets me! So shall I just go for the run today or best to wait until tomorrow!? Thanks in advance
Might seem like a silly question..: I haven't... - Couch to 5K

I would run today as per plan and rest tomorrow. Run slowly to avoid getting injured and out of puff

I'd definitely run, but stop if it really hurts. With normal aches they usually feel better once you get them moving

Yep, I'd run too. Just go very very slowly and steadily - no chest burning allowed!

I agree with all above, go for it, but not too fast x

Go for it! If it hurts, slow down, and have a day off sport tomorrow. Gosh, I sounded just like my mum then.
Do your quads and butt not usually ache after Kettles? if not, you're not doing it right, lol.
Yes, definitely go for a run, but tomorrow do a different type of cross training. Spin or rowing, perhaps.
They do usually ache but even more so today! I used a heavier KB and did more sets haha! What can I say, I can't wait to be fit
That's the spirit. Major muscle groups screaming in silent protest is how I know I have woken up. Without us the manufacturers of Voltarol and paracetamol would take a damaging dip in profits.
Now go do Spin class.

Run as per normal. Started kettlercise myself a couple of weeks ago. I run the next day. Usually I feel much bigger after effects of the kettlercise after my run the next day !! Doesn't seem to affect the run itself.
