So here's the thing. I wake up this morning at 5.30am with the intention of going for a run. Wk 3 run 1...and my back, legs, knees and ankles ache. I don't want to miss it. My last run was Friday. Do I go for it??? Or do it this evening or tomorrow. Help!

I am too w3r1 today. Have you stretched to wake the body up this morning?. Can you run later in the day? Sometimes we wake expecting our bodies just to work. If you ever watch an animal wake it spends a little time stretching it's muscles. I think this c25k is as much about developing mental strength and stamina as physical. Good luck with run mine is this evening. Hope to see a post later

I often feel rubbish and achy but after my walk up walk am ready to go. Especially when running first thing. Maybe get out there and if not right after your walk call it off and try later.

Go... just get out there...make sure you warm up really well, take it slow and steady and stretch well after. Also, make sure your rest day exercise is happening...

As the runs get longer, your stamina and strength..need building up alongside your legs...:)

I often ache in the morning and wonder if it's wise to do a run, but as soon as I am out there and doing the warm up walk my body seems to spring into action and just gets on with the run! You've had a couple of rest days so I'd say get out there and take it steady 😉
