Does anyone get sweaty between the fingers!?? I keep having to shake out my hands as the fingers seem to get stuck together!!
Also I've just done W8 R2 with feeling like 'why am I putting my body through this?' Getting up at 6.00 am is really only the time I can run and getting out of bed is getting harder!

It sounds as if you are clenching your hands a little too tightly
Try to really relax in your warm up and imagine, as someone? on here said, many moons ago, you are holding and trying not to crush a bag of crisps
Try to relax into these longer run..if you are struggling, then slow down.. the runs are made for it.
Put your stuff out the night before...lay it all ready.. make sure you are into a healthy eating regime and good hydration too. Linked with a good night's sleep this ought, hopefully, be invigorating for you... and fun!
I am so frustrated at the moment for the opposite reason..my early runs are getting later and I do not like it one bit... usually after 7 a.m. now...!
At least the early morning runs are lighter... and maybe warmer I hope this sorts for you... take it gently and see how you go ?
Hi Megrun, I don't get sweaty fingers but like any other runner I do sweat a bit, that's natural to do. Just about to go out and complete week 6 round 2, that is the last time you can walk, from Monday onwards it is ALL running. You ask 'why do I am putting my body through this'? well, in my case it was a bit of a challenge to start running, I am now 72, have had good health all my life and exercise a lot, I have been a cyclist since age 7, only ran at school, so I thought I would try the C25K training program. You say you are on W8R2, I notice that is 3 28 minute runs, so you don't want to give up now. There are 10 long runs to end the course, 4x25 mins, 3x28mins and finally 3x30 minute runs, wow, that's some going, I have yet to do that. I am just wondering, even if I can do them on a one-off basis, only 1 day off, perhaps 3 days between would be better, not sure, I will find out soon.
Do press on. Running is now part of my life and a year after starting, I feel fitter, stronger and generally more content. It really is worth persevering Maybe you need a little more faith in yourself.
