Thanks!!

Well, i had initially planned to go to legs bums and tums but having raced (within the speed limits) home from to get changed and then headed out to the gym, their bleedin' card machines were out of order which meant I couldnt partake as i had no money! So i went home and made dinner for me and my boyfriend, and when he went to football i decided to go running! I thought it'd be a good opportunity to practice a long slow run, because i usually have to rush home to get ready for work as i tend to go in the morning. Anyway, i took your advice and decided to make a conscious effort to go nice and slow and steady, with an aim to run 'further than 5k'. Whether that be 6k, 7k, 8k.. i just wanted to run further. The weather was lovely and warm but cool enough not to give myself heat stroke ha. And i started running, and just didnt feel like i needed to stop!!! Even at 10k i didnt feel out of breath, but i thought i might dislocate my hips should i carry on. Perhaps i will make mondays my 10k night too!!! Providing i can actually do it again :)

How fantastic! That's just how it was for me, too. And I'll be really surprised if you can't do it again. I think it's just that combination of knowing you can do it and being able to know the right pace.

Congratulations again - you've brought a smile to my face!
