A couple of weeks ago I start C25K and it didn't get off to the smoothest start. I was struggling to complete the runs at all and then also got sick (unrelated). After a couple of weeks off I got back on it this morning.

I went back through the advice I was given by so many others on here and figured out that I'd pushed too hard on the first attempt. I also shook of a bit of the pressure to do the program in 9 weeks after reading that many people had slowed it down to their own pace.

The result?

This morning's run went great! Much better than before and I finished the whole thing (no walking through some of the runs like before)!

I'm posting this up to try and help keep up the momentum and also to say thanks to all those whose advice and sharing of stories helped me to keep on it. I may only be at the start of this program but I'm feeling very positive :D

Em, that's the way to do it! Relax, have fun and enjoy this. Stick at it, and post here often.

Slow , slow, slow ! You don't need to do any pushing until your body has got the hang of this. Good luck for your second attempt !
