β€’11 Replies

Yay, I am so proud of myself, 20 minutes none stop jogging 😊 I had to keep telling myself I can I can I can and run they horrible I can't doubts from my head, I did .... If I had tried this 6 months ago when I was a smoker I won't of made it for 1 minute without doubling over in a heap of exhaustion, but I've not missed a week yet πŸ˜ƒ and I'm raring to get to week 9 now, 😜

Yay ! 20 mins non stop..It makes the 30 mins look do-able now doesn't it ? Well done you, that's great progress.

Well done W5R3 is a nice milestone which should put a huge ridiculous grin on your face, which is the devil's own job to remove :)

Take the same steady approach to week 6, as it catches most of us out after the elation of W5R3. W6 is perfectly do-able, and you are certainly ready for it, but do'nt be lulled into thinking that it is a doddle :)

Now you know for sure that you will be able to run for 30 minutes, and graduate in a few weeks. Feels great, doesn't it? Take Zev's advice about W6.

Wow thats brilliant, well done, I stopped smoking in November and when I started on week 1, I was a wreck after just 1 minute, can't believe how far ive come just coming to the end of week 7, so we both deserve a big huge pat on the back I reckon!! :)

Brilliant xsmokey. That's the way to do it. As Zev says, take the next run slow and steady.

Well done. Its great to get that one out of the way. With luck the good feeling will see you through to the end of week 6! Getting to that 20 minutes is THE hardest thing on the programme (except maybe W1R1). From now on the runs just get a bit longer- no more huge leaps.

Lots of people find W6 a bit of an anticlimax. Stick with it; you're nearly done with walking.

This was the stage when I thought "There is no way I am stopping now. I WILL graduate!!!" You will too. Feel very, very proud of yourself :)
