... Well now Ive lasted this long I'm very much starting to feel abit more confident, Im even contemplating downloading some monitoring apps for distance and time, any suggestions for good apps ??

I quite like Runkeeper (the free version). Easy to use, you can follow a training plan or log your runs with GPS or manually.

Well done for getting to W5, and glad you are feeling more confident. Monitoring apps are a good motivational tool especially if you like track your progress. MapMyRun works for me. Lots of people use endomondo too. Good luck for the rest of the week.

Well done.

I started off with runkeeper.

But I like strava for looking at stats cause if you run the same route it compares them for you so you can really see your improvment

Runkeeper does everything you want it to.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, getting the apps downloaded to try out this and next week, I think it'll be a really good motivational tool and once I've hit the 5k a good way to record PB's 😊
