Just completed w8r3 so just 3 more before I graduate. πŸ˜€

After wk8 r1&2 where neither of them felt right I did a few different things today.

1. Listened to different music

2. Changed my pace a bit

3. Relaxed more

4. Changed my route.

and it all seemed to work great except for the fact that in my deluded mind my chosen route had a couple of minor inclines to contend with which a)I'd forgotten were quite close together & b) hadn't appreciated that I'd hit them around the 10 min mark so they felt like feckin mountains to climb!!! I'm sure they've got steeper since I last walked that route. However, I got through the whole 28 mins & even had a cyclist passing me & shouting "well done well done" as he passed. I don't know if he was referring to the fact I moved over for him or the fact that I was out & giving it a go. I'll assume the later!

The only thing that went a bit askew was that Reggie my runkeeper obviously didn't like my chosen route so didn't map any stats. He told me when I finished that my total time was 2 seconds & total distance 0km!!! Never mind onwards & upwards & I look forward to my next post next week being as an official graduate. 😁😁😁😁

Well done! I do think music makes a difference. I couldn't get my phone to play music for some reason this morning and really missed it. I've still got 3 weeks to go but looking forward to getting more of the longer runs in now. Helen
