Birthday run

Cannot believe I celebrated my 50th birthday with a "park" run, and not just any old park, Central Park!!

Unfortunately gadgets didn't work, but we think we did 10K. We ran round the reservoir the wrong way much to the disgust of the locals. We did wonder about the signs that said WRONG WAY, but by the time we realised, we had gone too far to turn around (my excuse anyway).

Running around the park and down 5th Ave to the hotel was very surreal.

Still can't quite believe I did it, wonderful day.

Brilliant! I hope I'll be able to run 10k by my 50th birthday next January - although I doubt it will be anywhere special like Central Park! Have a great day and Happy Birthday! Helen
