Birthday blingage

A Nike+ from my very thoughtful daughter.

Of course, I already have a (well used) Garmin, so I have a dilemma. The reviews I have read about the Nike are not so great but I have to say, it does look good compared to the clunky old (and huge) Forerunner 205.

Wear them both, you might run twice as fast.

Oooh a thing of beauty indeed. You have two wrists! What's your problem!

Happy birthday by the way!

Funnily enough, I must just try that! The biggest complaint people seem to have about the Nike is that it registers greater distances than what is actually covered. My thought is to take both out on my regular walk for a head to head comparison then we will see what's what.

Thanks for the b'day wishes.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. For all sorts of reasons, 54 feels so much better than 53!

Happy birthday, youngster! I'd hate to see you disappear from my garmin friends.

Wow! That looks sleek. Does it connect with your trainers too?

****Happy birthday!!****

I don't know if you would remember him, but Timmy mallet always wore 2 (or more) watches at once - so if its good enough for him......

Just kidding - he used to also wear a plaster on his chin- don't do that! Ha ha

It does connect with your running shoes or at least with a foot pod but I don't really see much value in using one of those.

I, sadly, do remember Timmy Mallett but don't recall the multiple watch thing.

You might find that it registers more accurate distances if you use it in conjunction with the "foot pod" :)

I see. We'll see what happens on my head to head tests on Sunday first.

Thanks for that.

Happy Birthday. It looks great and so thoughtful. I use my Garmin and Strava so I think you should just use both. Happy Running :)

Ah Happy Birthday! I *almost* got one of these. But after trying it on I decided against it. (I have tiny, weeny wrists!). I use the Nike+ app though and I love it :)

Enjoy your ace pressie! x
