Had a good weekend in the UK. Fortunately am back to the sunshine now though! I managed to run twice since leaving on Friday morning and thought I'd share a couple of my UK running observations (first time I've run outside of Crete)

SE England is currently very muddy - glad my new trainers stayed at home!

Jet Lag helps with running, was done and dusted by 7am on Saturday!

English songbirds are louder than Cretan ones.

Early morning dog walkers are very smiley, early morning cyclists are not.

Layers are key, started out cold and ended up hot, goood job I had items to remove.

My usual runs are very flat, and I like it that way!

Too much work for a couple of days now, so will run again on Thursday, early as the forecast for this week is sun - at last! :-)

Just trying ( and succeeding) to make us jealous!

Be glad you are not here now or I'm sure you would also have some interesting observations about trying to run in a howling gale!
