Well, I went to a sports shop who offered gait analysis. They said my feet are neutral, however my feet do not roll, rather I land on the whole of the foot... bang, bang, bang!
The lady recommended Asics Gel pursuit 2 trainers, they did feel softer during the gait analysis!

They should be just the ticket for you. Lots of comfy runs from here on in.
If you are landing on your heels then shorten your stride so you don't.
