I am on week 3 (currently doing each weeks pod casts for a month ) Getting really good at my 3 min sessions so thought ...right one more and I'll move to week 4. Disaster I couldn't breath felt all red and only just managed the session?????? The only thing I wanted to do was undo my new bra. I'm sure it was restricting my breathing making everything extra difficult ??? I want it to be the bra ! Really disappointed .

It could be, did you get fitted for it? They need to be tight but not so tight you can't breath! Do you have another one you can try next time? If not, sloooowww down..

Oh my goodness, hope you didn't have to 'set them free' before you got home! ;) I did have a similar situation once when I fastened mine on the wrong hook, but, assuming you've run in it before without problems, then it's probably just 'one if those runs'. The ones that come out of nowhere to knock your confidence, especially when you're planning to move on to something new. Just give those gremlins a stern talking too and you'll be fine next time :) Good luck

Taking a month per week is a brilliant idea - I found the early weeks of the programme the hardest and building up the muscles in the legs is very important if you haven't moved much for a lot of years. I don't know much about sports bras as I am a bit boobless, but I agree that it is probably just 'one of those days' - we all have them.

It could well be. You might find it's ok when you breathe normally but too tight when you breathe deeply for your runs? Try wearing your old bra for the next run and if you're fine then it might be worth seeing if you can exchange the new one, especially if you were fitted for it.

When I first started my bra was trying to kill me. I changed to one made by adidas and boy what a difference, you want support but my shock absorber bra didn't allow any movement it made a difference. Plus the sports bras are cheaper than the specialist ones. I was an e cup and found they fitted really well

I am in extreme cup size territory and would not consider any form of exercise without my Shockabsorbers, I even wear one under a swimsuit when swimming. They are a pain to put on as I need it really really tight. My husband usually helps and regards it as trussing up the turkey. I doubt a bra can be so tight it affects your breathing. Probably just one of those things.

I am a g cup (but only 32 so look like Dolly Parton :-) ) I went out on one run in a "standard" bra. Boy was I wrong. Both boobs were running free by the time I got back. Luckily it was only week 2 so not as much running i run in the dark so no-one could see. I got my sports bra the next day from asda. It is the two tone blue one for high impact sports for larger cup sizes. I had to get a 34 as asda don't seem to think you can be a 32g. It is very stretchy around the bottom to let me breathe but my puppies stay put :-)

Defo the new bra ! Went out for a week one session( it's my rest day but needed to find out) I felt like a gazelle, a chubby one but I could breath!!! New bra is now stuffed in the back of the drawer. I am loosing 2lb a week so it may fit one day !!!!

I found a tight T-shirt under whatever you're wearing on top was as good as a bra anyway.

If it makes you feel any better I breezed through week 3 but have been stuck on week 4 for two weeks. I managed it all today but an old lady asked me if I was ok on the walk home......I think I looked like I felt.
