Charge your blooming head torch before you go! Just had a more-exciting than intended run where mine died on a steep uphill over wet rock in the woods! I confess I slowed to a walk - kept having bad thoughts about broken ankles.

Anyway, made it home with nothing more sinister than some superficial bramble-induced battle scars, so all's well :)

Oh my. Glad you found your way home!

Hope your battle scars aren't too obvious and heal quickly!

Heavens above Tea fairy - getting SBIBS's and saying all is well - very brave! I'm trying to persuade my Doctor to go running with me (when he sobers up) in case I have injuries. I do think the next species of mankind needs built in lights on their foreheads that only need charging with food (ideally chocolate cake) - I was going away for a few days earlier this week and suddenly found I was running out of sockets to charge things - iPhone, iPad, backup phone battery, and a host of other things... I'd decided to get an early morning run in before heading off. I began - it was going well, very well, very very well (no brambles in sight) and I felt just that tiny spark of hope that a new PB was about to be made. I finished the run looked at the GPS watch - dead as a Dodo... the one thing I had forgotten to charge - have no idea what my time was... I think I am going to get a T-Shirt with 'Have You Charged Today?' emblazoned across the front! :)
