Well deserved for your stunning run GF!

One proud medal winner.

As a cancer 'survivor', if I can be allowed to use that awful expression, thank you for running.

My pleasure Sallycycle. At the start of each wave they asked for everyone who knew someone who had been affected by cancer to raise their hand. I think every hand was raised. Then those who personally had been affected and then those who were running and still undergoing treatment. You can imagine the round of applause they got. It was brilliant being part of it!

I can indeed. And, THANK YOU again.

I'm one of the lucky ones....

Well done GF. Great medal that is! Lovely to behold indeed. How many's that now then? I bet you're building up quite a collection .

Thanks MW. Nope that's the first real one (not counting a virtual 10k race)

I'm one in front of you then. Tee hee

No, actually I have two. It would be just the one but the very lovely Aliboo made me one specially, so I can now boast a collection of two medals. Entered two more races but I don't know if there are medals involved. Hope so though.

Did you finish within the time you wanted/expected?

Not as predicted by myAsics but then I missed the last pace run and my calf is still not right. Official PB of 26:26 for the 5K and 55:29 for the 10k a whole minute faster than training and one minute off the predicted so I was very pleased!
