Parkruns are fab...turn up, smile and be nice, run, bar code then home again....simples
Thanks Juicy, I.have just read your post & can only say that you are doing great....I think you are allowing "Cantinotis" into your training....I always tell my girls that Can't does not exsist.. but Trying does.....put the negative thoughts where they belong....way behind you....if you had these thoughts when you first started running you would not have got off the couch!!!! I prefer running early between 4-5 am due to working shifts also I find that during the day I get a lot of funny looks....maybe it's my running tights..( does my bum look big in these? ) You're doing great & I have enjoyed reading your posts & watching your videos...you have inspired me to continue & if it was not for folks like yourself on this forum I would still be on the couch..!!""! ©
Hi there - it's amazing you're now running to 5k. I'm in middle of doing C25K myself.
How much weight did you lose while getting to your stage?
I've been running for 4 weeks now, mostly 4 times a week and although I certainly feel fitter and my legs are stronger (though a bit wobbly) I haven't lost a single pound
