Well today I tried aqua jogging at the local pool. It was a strange experience but enjoyable all the same. You put a waist float on and you literally jog up and down the length of the pool.
no swimming, feet down, arms pumping, doing lengths.
We did 40 minutes and it was really enjoyable.

When I was life guarding there was a marathon runner who was injured, he used that as a way of keeping his training up without muscle strain. Is that the same as deep water running? There's a class for that at my local pool.
