Your skeleton needs time to get used to the sudden onslaught so you have to go slowly and progress steadily. I know sometimes you feel like you could go off like a rocket but resist. It's a wierd pain isn't it. It gets right into your bone doesn't it and pain radiates up and down the front of the leg. OUch
Have you got Neurofen or Ibufren? I'd get some but it only works when your muscles are at rest, eg in bed last thing at night before you kip
I feel your pain. I know that feeling suffered myself during the summer months. Take it easy and rest and yes begone sore shins!!
