Guess where I have just been!! Yay first run in quite some time and I have to thank Myles for his inspiring post which gave me the push I needed to get out on this lovely cold and frosty morning. I enjoyed every minute of my short 3.4 k run/walk but was pleased that I felt very comfortable at the end but took it steady and did my cool down walk and lots and lots of stretching..........I went back to week 6 and hope to follow along now to week 9 with my goal being a 5k in 30 minutes, so just 4 mins to shed somewhere! Thank again to a wonderful forum and I hope to be online a bit more now.
I am very blessed with an amazing location of Woburn estate on my doorstep. Was just having a wee walk before approaching a very steep incline!

Hi Nelly. So glad I could have been of inspiration! There's something almost magical about being out running in the frosty cold, isn't there? It's invigorating.
Keep it up like that and you'll be up to 30 minutes and beyond in no time at all!
I'm back and intend staying and hopefully you will be too.
Well let's just say if you don't see me for a while I give you permission to hunt me down and give m boot! I have been on a high all day.......amazing.
If you are ever this way come and join me! That goes for all my forum friends. Maybe it could be the start of a forum friends run and move around to each other's favourite locations!
Wow, what a beautiful place! I went out this morning too, pavements were pretty scary with ice, so went across the bridle paths, they were lovely frosty, crusty gorgeousness, no mud baths this time! A few puddles, but no slips. What a great morning to be out.
Don't you just love this running lark, happy running all!
What a beautiful place to run, I totally agree there a so many great and inspiring people in this forum and advice you can really rely on. Thank you all and keep on running
I never know when I can get out again so have to jump at any opportunity at the moment, rain, hail, or shine but this weather beats them all hands down, glorious!
Oh Nellie, that looks fab ! I bet you had a great time out there . I haven't run since Christmas Day, it is like an ice rink here . I am chomping at the bit to get out there again !
Glad you enjoyed yourself, looks a lovely, lovely place to run xxx
What a beautiful beautiful place to run Nelly. No wonder you're feeling elated. I love the idea of a forum friends run. Sadly, it doesn't look like you're in Suffolk or I'd be the first one to sign up. Happy running
