Happy Christmas fellow runners :O)

Today is a running day I'm in blighty for a few days, and going to spend Xmas day with my mum so decided to get my run in before setting off to see her.

Ran a little bit further than originally intended this morning. I decided I would run around Draycote Water. I know the place is closed on Christmas Day, but thought I could park in the road before the gate, and run from there. No chance of that though, police no parking cones all along both sides of the road :O(

So I drove to Half Mile Lane, as I knew that there was a fot path to Draycote Water from there. Still no joy, no parking signs everywhere. So, not to be beaten, I parked in Dunchurch village, and ran to Draycote Water from there, then did a circuit of the reservoir.

It was a bit nippy to begin with, but I only really felt it in my hands, and they soon warmed up as I got going.

A nice bright clear morning, dry with hardly a breath of wind, perfect :O)

Back home for a hot shower, and now off for Christmas Lunch :O)
