Not brilliant but ...

1st run after a 2 week break. I supposed to be relaxing in Egyptian sunshine with some sightseeing but ended up with laryngitis, chest infection & cough. Still managed some sights & some sun bathing but I was worried about how I would manage with running when I got back. Well this morning I took the plunge. A 30 minute slow jog. If I had to describe it I would say middle aged/old lady stagger but I didn't have to stop which I call a result! I feel much more optimistic about being able to get back in the groove now

Well done Sharon it's great to get out again and it doesn't sound like your rest has affected your fitness too much
