Out there this morning in that same wind tunnel again, doing the same 3.2K route for my Asics plan... RunKeeper was mucking about a bit last time and gave me a good time. I didn't quite believe it so did the same route again, and got an even better time! Average pace 7.43! Now, I know that isn't very fast by most peoples standards but for me it's a massive improvement! More than a minute per KM from 2 weeks ago! I know I'm supposed to be running at a comfortable pace for the plan, but it seemed to me a case of seize the moment... I feel like increasing my speed at the moment, so I thought I'd go for it! At least the plan has got me inspired again even if it's not quite in the way they planned...
I expect to be gibbering and rambling again later too, thought I'd post before I really go crackers!

Hi Curly sounds and looks good to me thought it was just me and Runkeeper !
Thanks Bazza, you might be interested in this... I've listened to all the advice on here about high cadence, slow down then slow down some more, and short quick paces etc, tried them all and haven't really made any improvement...I decided to just run in my own style, I have very long legs and very low cadence, probably under 145...I've just been running at as fast a pace I think I can keep up for my whole run, and How 'Bout Dat? Seems to work for me..Easily under 8 mins for the first time ever.
Another thing, you might have seen my posts about post-exercise gloom and doom, well pushing myself a bit seems to mean I get the runners buzz.. much preferable!
