You CAN do it. I did it!! I'm very chuffed with myself. I chose a completely different route this time which included a few up and down hills, (and I stupidly ran across a bit of muddy grass which has given me a funny pain in my knee) but I kept to a steady pace (same pace as I usually run, according to my phone) and it went really quickly! I think choosing a route that's interesting helps. I was having a good old nose at streets near me that I never normally go down, so it kept my mind off the run. It was fun! Can't wait for the next one

I'm so pleased for you. Congrats. I also try to mix up the route to make it more interesting.
