Just wondering as it's our graduation run on Christmas Day so need you all with me in spirit even if you aren't actually running
My friends daughter is down from Glasgow and she is a regular runner. We will all be running together. Really looking forward to it if I'm honest. What a Christmas present to ourselves

Thanks Pinky. Hope it's not too stormy....but it'll be quite nice to go out, run, get a drenching, have a nice hot shower....then absolutely stuff ourselves silly!! I'm having lunch at my running buddy's house too so even more of an excuse for a few slurps of champers too xx
I just had a look at my "plan" on the calendar . Yes- I'll be running on Christmas Day -- and early morning "long run" - probably do 7K, not very long but it is like trying to run in a sauna here right now.
I'm hoping to as I'll be by the beach and I love cold weather empty beach runs. But we'll see!!!
I'll probably just be with you in spirit Barbara. I've worked out a plan of potential run days up to 21st, and then will hopefully go on 23rd but that will depend on work, and then probably not again until 27th x
Oh yes, I shall be pounding the pavements into submission on Xmas day. Early morning as light starts rolling in. My run normally takes me East, so if I time it right and the weather is ok I'll be running into the rising sun. If not I'll just get cold and wet. Nothing special, just a plain 30 mins, maybe slow down and push a few more for good measure.
My running 'planner' has me running Christmas Eve and Boxing Day so I will be with you in spirit Sounds like a great idea though to have a get together Christmas run. Happy running
I'm hoping to, but as I haven't yet told my family that I'm running, and they will of course be around on Christmas day, (I normally do it on my 2 days off and first thing Saturday before work), it might be a bit tricky. But I'll see what i can manage. I will certainly will Feel like doing it, after loafing around stuffing myself all day!
Yes! This will be my third Christmas Day run. You get lots of cheery reactions from other people, and it's a great feeling when you get back and sink your teeth into that mince pie or whatever
And what a great day to graduate!
Yep I'll be running with you on Christmas day as I'm travelling Christmas eve and boxing day is my gran's birthday and we always go all out! To be honest, I prefer her birthday celebration to Christmas day, it's like we've had our trial run so we can all relax!
I've seen this question asked a lot on forums recently and I'm tempted to say yes but Christmas day is on a Thursday which isn't a normal run day so likely the answer will be no but I'll be out boxing day trying to work off Christmas dinner before I start cooking for my family.
Awwww That's just brilliant. Am so pleased everyone is running too. Not sure I can make a video but might manage a selfie at the end. Thanks for all your replies! Excited now xx
I'll be in Germany and i wasn't planning on taking my running shoes but i will have hiking boots with me so might go for a slow jog as well. What time is everybody planning to run?
