I'm having a lie in, then opening my stocking. I ran a personal best yesterday so I think I deserve it. 🤶🏼

I think I'll go out in about half an hour for a quick and dirty 5k! Nothing too strenuous. It'll probably be a disaster after the excesses of yesterday but will appease my conscience and prepare me for the excesses of today! Merry Christmas all🍸🍾💫

Have to wait a while, but the relief of having something so much fun to do this afternoon is a godsend

Otherwise I'd be sitting around in an empty house ( kids go over to the Outlaws) feeling very peevish and sorry for myself : )

I went out for a run this morning. 6.7 miles before 10am.

No run today for me; the morning was a lie-in until 8.30 when the girls brought their Santa pressies in to us for opening. Then breakfast, then main presents, then lunch. We've done a dog walk this afternoon so it's not been entirely lazy, but the run will have to wait until tomorrow after another lie-in!
