Since the summer I have consistently run 1st thing (before breccie!!) this week I have delayed my run until later (lighter & less slippy) AFTER my porridge & guess what I feel fresher & lighter on my pins!!! Twasn't the earmuffs afterall......!!!!!

Thanks Poppypug - it sure is!!

Porridge is brilliant fuel! Mind you, having said that I've just done the scary W5R3 on a slice of toast with peanut butter which also works well for me :)

That comment just reminds me of the Mrs Overall line, "twas it muesli" Ha ha. Can't stop tittering now

Porridge is the fuel of choice for runners. Running on porridge is like running on premium unleaded. Vroooooooooooooooooooom. Go Sumo, go!

Love the name by the way. You won't be Sumo for long though. Keep on running!

I've found I run better after a little something, nana, crumpet, toast.. doesn't really matter which it is... hard for a non breakfast eater...I bet the muffs helped a bit though..
