Thanks very much! First, I want to see "Graduate" against my name! lol Then I'll work up to a 5k, and then try to improve my times a bit. Then I have to become realistic, and start tackling hills! All my running so far has been on the flat - no point in having a canal to run alongside and not using it!

Thanks to you all! This is such a great way to make friends! I'm beginning to realise that we're a network of runners all across the country, and that between us we must cover the country with running trails! Wouldn't it be interesting if we could all post our runs onto the same map! I use Strava, but I doubt they're all compatible, which is a shame.
