Well tried running again tonight after 2 days rest (week 7 r2) but broke down and had to limp back to the house. I am so close but now so far. Bo****ks!
My question is, how far back does say, a weeks rest put you?
Do you think I could pick up where I left off, or do you reckon I would have to go back a few weeks and start again?

I think you should carry on from where you last ran....take it nice & easy... I had a short break when I had shin splints & carried on from the last run..
Oh bugger Meadsey. I feel your pain....literally. I've had more calf pain today but carried on. I'd just have a rest and carry on where you left off. You've worked hard and why should you have to go backwards...hope your leg is ok. I've done masses of stretching today. I have no idea how I will feel tomorrow morning
Go back to where you were and take it very slowly. A week's gap shouldn't make any difference to your fitness. I don't know what's wrong with your leg but do you use a foam roller as its great to get rid of knots in muscles?
I was on the couch for almost 6 weeks having got as far as W4R2. Didn't feel confident enough to start there and was thinking I might have to start from the beginning but started at week 3 instead. So I would imagine that if you're only off for a week you should pretty much be ok to carry on from where you left off. But just listen to your body
I don't think a week off will make much difference. (At least I'm hoping not !!!)
