One Year On!

Hi All, just wanted to say how much I enjoy dipping into this forum and how it's very much part of my running. My run last night was exactly one year on from starting c25k, it was wet (very wet in fact) and cold, but as usual I just loved doing it! I don't run much beyond 5k, now and again to 6 or 7k and I'm probably not very fast, just managing the occasional sub 30min 5k, but I always run twice and often three times a week and well, it's what I do now. Keep running, keep posting, keep smiling!

  • Brilliant.. That's what it's all about and I bet you feel so much better and fitter :)

  • I do JJ, I don't think I've lost any weight, not that that was the idea, but I do feel fitter, healthier, stronger and with fewer aches and niggles too.

  • Thanks Kat!

  • Excellent! Well done for keeping it up, especially when the weather's not so great.

  • Thanks Cheery, in fairness, last night was actually the only time I've ever got quite so wet, been dodging the worst of it for a year!

  • Great post :D especially for us newer grad's ,i hope to be posting the same in a years time too :)

  • Hi Rob, I'm sure you will.

  • It's great isn't it to just be able to run three times a week. I really look forward to my runs now. I've been running just over a year too and you can see how far you've come since those first days of C25k. Like you, I'm over the niggly aches and pains. Fingers crossed

  • Yes, MissW it is great isn't it. Any time, any weather, anywhere! I've just booked some flights to go to Miami for a work trip in January, so can't wait to run there too.
