Well done Rob... that's a really great achievement and time, your splits show that you stuck to a good pace.... soo jealous, I got rained off tonight. I WILL run tomorrow even if it is on a dreadmill!
Thanks Andy , cant say i wasn't disappointed after Saturdays run and was kicking myself sunday and monday but to night was the run, felt really good , 10K is starting to ente rmy thoughts now , will think on that more gonna work on that 5k time
I saw youa re going to try the dreadmill ... bet it will fell weird afte rbeing outside ..
Never been on treadmill, really enjoy being outside, so it could be interesting! Working away from home tomorrow, but I will take my kit with me and get some advice about some local well lit roads if its not raining too hard... otherwise I'll be like a hamster on the treadmill.
It was tad windy here tonight but not to bad hope its ok for you tomorow
Well done Rob, your first 5k, that's a fantastic milestone and brilliant achievement ! Very windy and rainy here tonight. Did my run this evening, very hard when you are running against the wind.
Never mind, chilling out now with a nice cuppa tea xxx
Slow Rob, you are an amazing star. Wonderful effort to read of all these km being eaten away! The energy that this gives is tremendous. You're right to be a happy bunny, not that one which advertises Duracell batteries! You've for much more zing thana bettery bunny, well done!
Thanks helingmic just over 10 weeks ago i wouldnt have even dreamt about doing it but now is very different ,the more you can do the more you want to do
thank you for you very kind words it is much appreciated too
Congrats and well done Rob - now the monkey has gone you will get better and better and it will get easier and easier. Build slowly to that 10K - I just mix it up a bit - one run to push the distance, one to push the time and one to push the speed - but never forget that we are here to enjoy ourselves and that means taking it steady. Brilliant stuff
