Do what ever feels comfortable for you, as you move through the sessions you will get to know what is comfortable and what is not.
Congratulations for starting it's going to be an epic journey for yourself, but one thing I can promise you is you will amaze yourself time and time again.
I can't advise about treadmills sorry, but good luck with the programme. Follow Laura's instructions to the letter and you will be able to finish c25k. You have made the right decision starting this, keep posting here and there is loads of great information and people to help you along your way.
Completing the program is the key... the speed (so I'm hoping ) comes later. I have never run on a treadmill so others may be able to advice further, but I would start off as slow as you can whilst still running and go from there.
I went out for a walk with a friend the other day and I was able to "run" by her side at her walking pace... but that still counts
Hi. Well done. Prepare to be amazed at your progress!! I run on a treadmill but it's kph. Sounds like yours is miles. I run at 7.2 kph. That's slowed down a lot since I started and the runs got longer. You may need to slow down a bit. Just do what you are comfy with.
