You can add music to the app, Spotify or the radio as well, the music fades when the coach speaks to you.

I’ve been using the podcast (I don’t like to use my data allowance when running) and it has music (although not my taste tbh!) included. Might be worth checking it out ....
Looking forward to using my own music once I’ve completed the course! Hehe
Hi and well done for taking the plunge. I use bbc sounds app. You can download individual casts so you dont use your data. I use the two hour pace setter rap music cast.
I feel like I'm being really thick, I just can't see where to add the music!

Any way you play music on your phone can be used alongside the C25k app.

If you open the 5k app at the bottom click on discover and your get "the one show" displayed. Left swipe and you'll see radio one music. That will take you to bbc sounds app 🙂 from there you can download music for free. When you go running just open up 5k app and bbc sounds app
Do you have Spotify, or Amazon Prime Music, or any downloads?
You just start your playlist and then press start on the C25K app.

I’ve downloaded some ‘Desert Island Discs’ to listen to alongside the C25k. They’re nearly all about 30/35 minutes so perfect timing & a great distraction!!
