Just finished run 2 week 4 ..... hectic few days and my body has rebelled!!! Shin splints!! Only on my left shin just about to ice the area and have a well earned rest!!....

well done on your runs so far hope those shin splints clear soon, could be a running shoe thing ?
No I had my gait analysis done at Runnersneed and my trainers are new.....I will have a rest day tommorow and see how I feel....I remember having this problem when I was much younger and had overtrained.....I did push myself over the weekend so I have to accept that I am not a spring chicken anymore !!!!!
