What kind of pace to people do on the treadmill? Currently doing my walks at 5mph and my runs at 7. Any advice if this is too little or too much?

Treadmill paces
Haven't done too much on a treadmill but, when recovering from a knee injury, I used one at similar speeds to you: walking at 5.5mph and running at 7.5mph. I don't think k it matters what speed you go at though as long as you're running or walking briskly. Good luck.
Sounds good to me. I generally do walks at 4mph and runs at 6-8mph. For C25k I started at 6.8mph for runs and ended up at 7.1 o get my 5k time down. Also used an incline of 2 to make it harder so when I started outside it wouldn't be too much of a shock with the hills.
My treadmill pace for a 30 minute run is around 6kmph for a walk and 7.8 kmph for a run so I'm quite a way slower than you are. I am trying to up my pace and do shorter but speedier runs - 8kmph for a jog, increasing to 8.5kmph for a quick burst of "speed" ... still makes me the tortoise though!
If that's mph that's fast!!! I walk at 5.6 and run, well jog slow at 7.2 KPH! well done you!!!
I'm doing my brisk walks at about 5.8kph and currently running at 7kph on the treadmill. I am trying to increase my speed by .2kpm each run. It really has to be whatever you feel able to run at. I know I am pretty slow, but I still feel incredible at the end of each run.
It sounds like you are whizzing along!
Sounds quite fast W. Treadmill for me is a wee bit faster than outdoors (no hills!) I started week 1 walking at 5kph (3.1mph) and jogging at 7.5kph (4.6mph). I'm now comfortable walking at 6kph (3.7mph) and jogging at 10kph (6.2mph) with little bursts of 12.5kph (7.7mph) for the 1 minute speed podcast thing (any longer than a minute not possible at the moment).
Don't want to know how slow I 'run' up the hills outdoors, but my dog overtakes me at walk and then waits at the end of the lead for me to catch up!
7mph (11.2 Kph) is a sub 30 minute 5 K - sounds pretty fast to me whilst your walking pace of 5mph (8 Kph) is faster than most people jog. But if you can do this pace without straining or injury well and good - but you did ask the question - Why?
How long are you running, walking for? How far along C25K are you?
