First 10km race - Odyssea in Paris

Even though I have done a 10k on my own, this was my first race. I absolutely had a great time; it is so much easier with the camaraderie of a big crowd, so any of you toying with an organised run, go for it. My time was around 1 hour 4 mins, which I am pleased with and the course around park of the Chateau de Vincennes in the East of Paris was wonderful, if a little dusty with all those runners (Odyssea, a race in aid of breast cancer, is one of the larger Paris races, with around 35,000 runners expected). The hamstring held but the old ITB knee kicked in around the 8km point so I had to walk for a couple of minutes. I'll definitely do another one just for the camaraderie. The snap is after the race.
