We all need to be safe out there as Useit says. Stay aware and don't take any unnecessary risks. Not just from horrid people but vehicles too. X

My hedgediving skills have become legendary over the last few weeks. Glad I have discovered the country park as I think dark mornings will be out of the question with the loony drivers round here. Do none of these people ever walk? Where are their manners? D'oh!

After my earlier post, I realise that I often run in the morning after everyone has gone to work, so no-one knows when I've gone or when I am expected home. I need to find an end-of-the-phone buddy to text before I run and when I get back, just to be on the safe side. I suppose even if it's my mum 150 miles away she could call the police if I don't send the second text!

Not sure if all phones have it, but 'track my iphone' is useful if you are prepared to give your password etc. to a trusted friend.

Android phones have lookout which can be used to do the same tracking
