Any Scots out there??

I'm not sure if that looks fun or just plain scary! It certainly made me tired just trying to understand the rules! And it definitely made my morning, not, to find out that I officially fall into the 'Veteran Woman' category!
Maybe next year though.......

That looks awesome. Wish id heard about it earlier. Something for next year tho. Thanks bazza for the link.
Aye, I'm a Scot, but living in the soft south. Great shame as out son used to orienteer on Dartmoor, so knows his way round the rules.
Good luck to any entering.
WALKING in Edinburgh is challenging enough, between the hills and the sneaky footpaths and the stairs and the places you wish there were stairs. We took a holiday in Edinburgh when our son was young enough to need a pushchair. That was fun?
Maybe I will go along and observe.

Hmm, to me orienteering has to be running through forests. I have done beginner O courses in city parks when my sons were wee, and when the World O championships game to our part of the world and they put on Intro courses for the public. I'll see if hubby is interested, though.

Another Scot south of the border - and was nearly excited as am returning to the homeland on holiday near Stirling, but alas it is after the Stirling Castle event! A pity because Mr Flying Scot would have loved that too! He prefers hashing! But getting muddy in the dark is just not for me! Thanks for sharing though - great to broaden the boundaries!!!
