Fed up

Finished W2R3 Sunday, struggled a bit but did it. Have now gone down with a bug, aching joints, temperature etc so feeling really fed up as I had started to enjoy this running lark and will probably now have to repeat W2 when I eventually get back on my feet. What do others do in this situation, repeat the whole week or just one run or just start the next week and see how it goes.

I'd repeat one W2 run and see how you feel. If it's REALLY hard, do it again till you feel ok, if it's only normal hard (and they are all hard if they're working!) move on!

Thanks for your help, I will see how it goes repeating one run.

I was poorly with sickness and tummy bug on W4. Lucky for me I was only in bed two days so got back out there but did take it nice and slowly. Your body will tell you when your ready ;-)

Sure these bugs are thrown into the mix just to test us! Lol will take it nice and slow.

Ditto to just repeating the last run.

Just try it and see how your body responds. If you really struggle then have a couple more goes at it until you're reasonably happy. If it goes well then you'll have the confidence to step-up to week 3.

Get better first though :)

I'm at the fed up stage so must be on the mend, but will give it a couple of days before I try.

Go out as soon as you can. I would carry on where I left off and see how it goes.

Good luck with it.
