W7R1 done. Sheffield is hillier than Stockport!

Back to uni now and W7R1 was my first in Sheffield. I was ready to give up after just 5 minutes of running! Found my rhythm by 10 mins and then could have gone on for longer by the end.

Yep, never give up on a run. Have a little walk or slow down and find your second wind. You would have been disappointed with yourself if you'd stopped

There are some amazing hills in and around Sheffield. Stocksbridge for example. Eek!

I almost always feel like giving up for the first five minutes and then feeling like going on for ever around forty-five. I make a policy f taking no notice of how I feel for the first mile now. Just keep my head down until I have got into a rhythm.

Hills are great fun once you get into them, aren't they? I remember when I was doing the first few weeks I ran on a pancake flat course but had one little humpback bridge at the end of it and used to dread it. LOL. Now my hill sessions are my favourite runs of the week.
