I've always told you to just shoot me if I ever decide to run a marathon, but.......

I'm doing a marathon on Sunday! Yay!

Don't shoot though, it's a relay, I'm not doing the whole thing. Ange from parkrun put out a request for volunteers to make up a team and I signed up! The Thames River Relay, from Virginia Water, down to Kingston (ending where my HM the other week started and finished, but the other direction).

I was doing the final section, but got an email this evening, can I do the first and the final sections! Yep, not a problem, I should have an hour or so in the middle to recuperate!

If I survive I'll let you know how we got on.

And to say we have 12 people, which made 3 teams if 3 of us could run twice (for 2 different teams). If I'm running twice do you think I'd get 2 medals?

Beads, we have to meet - either at Hurst Park or at the Hawker Centre. I am running the final leg with one of the Sheen Shufflers teams (we have four). Should be a lot of fun.

That sounds fun! Tough but fun! I think a marathon is mental but part of it sounds much more do-able
