Toenails on turbo

Ok, so I know a lot of people have toenail trouble when they start running, but this is a bit different. since I have been running my toenails seem to be growing like weeds and need cutting frequently. Is this just me being weird or a common phenomenon? My husband suggests that increased blood supply is acting as fertiliser but I am not convinced. Anyone else?

Hallo Rosebery

Yes I have noticed my toenails seem to need cutting a lot more since running. After a run the other day my toe felt really sore, took a look and one of my toenails was cutting into the toe next to it! Now I had recently cut them so thought I must have somehow missed that one nail but it has happened again. I swear the damn things are growing as I run ( I use the word run loosely here, in my case it`s more accurately a crawl:) )

Mine too! I cut them straight across and then give them a smooth over with a nail file

Now that's three of us, that's a definite trend.
