Some of you seem to be enjoying a lovely morning for running today but here is is positively cold, grey windy and wet.
I never seemed to get warm during my run today and got well and truly rained on. How is it that you can feel thoroughly chilled and yet still be a sweaty mess when you get home?
I will never complain about running in the heat of summer again!

I am looking out my window at the fog and thinking it's just too cool, had to get my long running gear out again, Monday shorts and vest and today long leggings, vest, long sleeved top.
Ullyrunner, hopefully you have had a nice warm shower and a cup of tea to warm you up!
Cool, grey, wet and windy here. But I had an intervals training session to do, so I pulled on my vest and shorts and went out. Luckily the rain stopped while I did my 5-mins warms up walk, but then varied from a light sprinkle to heavy rain during the next hour.
The 15 x 60 sec intervals finished while I was still a wee ways from home, so I kept moving quite fast to keep warm. I managed 10 minutes at my tempo pace, then slowed for the final 1km slog up the hill home. I came back soaked to the skin, but warm since I'd been working pretty hard,
Long pants for me tonight for my run, still deciding on the top. I've been freezing all day too as the heating at work is bust, typical since it was on yesterday and I was too warm in my jumper so came in not so wrapped up today, not sure when these goosebumps will go..... brrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!
Grey , cold and windy here too , got my socks on in the office as I came to work with bare legs , Pah ! Nice and cosy now tho
I love running though when its like this xxx
Weird weather this year... only had 2 really hot days this summer here in France, although it has been very humid...feeling autumnal now, but very pretty in the mornings, a bit chilly but perfect for crazy English runners.
Ok since my last post the sun, i wrapped up for my run in the fog. Got outside by the time i did my warm up walk the sun had come out, luckily i decided on capris as a last minute change of plan or i would have over heated!
