Did my last run 2day on wk 1 3rd run. I did it but my bad foot that I had tendinitis in is painful again this time on the ball of foot below last 3 toes. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, can anyone help please.

It might be worth getting it checked out by podiatrist, physio or osteopath. Are your running shoes the right ones for you? It may also be the terrain that you are running on. Make sure you take rest days and gently stretch the area out and ice it after a run - as well as on rest days. A bottle of water put in the freezer (allow room for expansion) to use as a foot roller is good too - doesn't count as your icing the area though.

you might want to look at how you are running - although Laura recommends the heel first gait I have found a side strike better - may not be right for you but worth looking at how you run and then see if it could be altered

good luck

Thank u helenbones your reply was v useful. I seem to be landing on outer side of my left foot (little toe side). Other foot fine.

that may indicate a problem in your hip or knee - which can cause the whole leg to rotate and so put a twist through your foot. The right trainers may be able to help that but need a specialist store which doesn't come cheap.

I did see someone recommend to try to run like an assassin (light footed and silently) and I found that useful.

best of luck with it

Thank u again helenbones, I luv the idea of running like an assassin silently & softly. I will be running along making people jump as they didn't hear me approaching haha =^.^=
