(Wednesday) So I'll say it again. Join The Dozz-ville Challenge Award For The Discombulated! We had two more members join yesterday. There is still time!

In the meantime there is BIG news on the bike front! Mrs Next Door came round to see if she could borrow an onion. (Maybe she's bringing it back tomorrow?) I had my running things on so we had a quick chat about that. Then, at the same time as asking if she'd like some gooseberries (they'd just come out of the allotment) I mentioned the need for a bike for the tri. She said I could use Mr Next Door's and to come round when I wanted it. So, run and bike done today. (I have a row of cog cuts round my calf to demonstrate my determination. I got those just trying to get on it.)

These are our present triathletes.

Captain poppypug (ents and haberdashery div, triathlete)

Lieutenant Frannyfran (linguistics, triathlete first class)

Nanna (triathlete)

Second Lieutenant BoPeep9009 (triathlete)

NCO GoogleMe (triathlete)

Second Lieutenant ginbin (publicity div, triathlete)

If I have missed your completion post let me know.

Swim and bike done today. Run Thursday so getting there. I like the exchange bata system you have. An onion for a loan of a bike.

I impressed even myself. Wonder what the onion turned into?

Hello can you put me down for the challenge, a reason for me to dust off my bike and take it for it's maiden ride. Money will be donated to the local chest, heart and stroke charity.

I never did get back to you about this did I. Yes please, I'll make a fool of myself for the sake of the alzheimers society.

Well, onion to the rescue! Did you have one? I hope she didn't cry as a result.

I did my run and swim today sir! Yes, I hadn't really signed up, but there I was by the sea so I went for it. My arms even hurt, but I don't think I did the full minutes because Millie (friend of the canine variety) eventually started to whimper on the beach after swimming out and back several times. Does it count?

The run went well, but it was hot even in the evening. I plan to bike tomorrow and will keep you posted. *salutes*

I must say an onion for a bike...you got the better end of the deal. Perhaps you'll get a sample of what the onion turned into :)

Thank goodness my internet is back! Thought it was 'shot down' by the storms last Thurs/Fri and was having someone repair it at home today, but as though by magic it started working again - so problem not here but with my provider? - Don't know if someone got into the 'box' again outside and did something with the wires? Anyway, up at usual 6.15am for run, purple and sweaty at the swimming pool at 7am for the swim (find they have been overcharging me the £5.20, I can pay £3.70 as I'm over 50!) and have not long been back home from the ladies cycling - so I am done and assuming I do not need for an ambulance later, I may even repeat next Wed??!

Made the stupid mistake of trying the run/swim combo yesterday, I know, I know, should not have and felt like s**t yesterday afternoon/evening to the degree of anti inflams before bed. However, right now, like Moneysupermarket, I feel epic!

Thank you for this suggestion of Triath for Discomb. I am hoping 'to storm' (walk) Hadrians Wall full length including bits not there during the summer with OH and daughter and hoping to be fit enough. It could be a toss up as to which of us is too injured etc. I'm the one who will need the loo......

So may I have my title and will there be any orders for storming Hadrian's Wall later in Aug?
