Not sure whether it was the hotter day or the longer runs but that run was tough. The last 20 seconds being up a slight gradient. I did however get to the end and a whole day after my legs are just starting to come back to life. R2 ups the game again though and we're expecting mid 20's temps so looks like I'll be down by the canal path again.
I also had to battle a headache which didn't help but no pain no gain.! Keep on plodding

Yes, keep on plodding indeed! Well done for keeping going! This heat is a bit of a challenge. I went out at 7.30 pm ish and it was still too hot. I usually try to go out before 9.30 pm and it's usually a bit cooler by then.
You'll be fine. Just keep to a slow, steady jog and you'll get round, and hopefully finish the programme without injury, which is C25k heaven
Well done on going out in the hot weather, its so easy to put it off, beleive me i have been doing that since last Thursday. Like you, tonight I decided that hot weather or not I had to get out there, didnt go until gone 9pm but still came back melting lol. Great work keep going!!
Well done, sometime days it does seem harder than others, not helped by the weather......but good for you, you showed grit and determination and kept going, so well done. In regard to your headache, are you drinking enough?.......especially given the present weather.
Good luck and keep us up to date with your progress.
